Having grown up playing junior sport himself, Matt understands the important role local clubs play in bringing kids, families and communities together – and also just how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep them running.
From volunteers giving up their time to the ongoing challenge of fundraising, maintaining facilities and providing opportunities for young people, community clubs rely heavily on the support of local families and businesses.
That’s why, wherever we can, we choose to give back to the community that supports us.

Wynnum Vikings AFL Club
We’re proud to support the Wynnum Vikings, helping a local club continue to provide opportunities for players and families in our community.
Grassroots clubs like the Vikings are built on volunteers, families and local support, and we’re pleased to play a small part in helping them continue what they do.
This one’s close to my Lauras heart. She grew up around AFL, spending weekends at the grounds and being part of that community. It’s nice to now be on the other side, supporting a club that’s giving young kids in the area a great opportunity.
Wynnum Manly Junior Rugby League
Junior sport is particularly important to us, which is why we’re proud to support Wynnum Manly Junior Rugby League.
It’s about more than what happens on the field. Junior clubs give kids a place to make friends, learn teamwork, build confidence and feel part of their local community.

With Electech based at the RQYS Boatyard in Manly, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is a big part of our local community.
Our sponsorship reflects both our connection to the marine industry and our own love of being on the water. It stems back to Matts family ties to Sailing and our love of all things boating.
We’re particularly proud to support the Squadron’s junior sailing community and the next generation getting involved in boating and sailing.
